The Power of Animation in the Medical World
A Sales Tool for Medline
Medline’s sales reps were in need of a tool that would help them to capture the interest of their target audience during a short introductory meeting. We were tasked to produce an animation that would help secure a second meeting with the prospective customer.
Medical personnel are often overwhelmed by administrative and logistical tasks. Medline can support them by taking over these tasks, allowing them to focus on what’s most important to them – helping patients.
Delivering the Message
The film narrative and the animation concept needed to resonate with the current work challenges of medical staff and provide them with solutions. We highlighted Medline’s top-rated services, as these resolve some of the most common issues faced by medical personnel.
By demonstrating the value of the services in a punchy and concise way, sales reps increased the probability of securing a second meeting.
Designing the Illustrations
The style of the animation ensures the full focus of the viewer is on the message, not on irrelevant details. There is a level of detail and sophistication used in the illustrations to depict the medical environment in a relatable way.
Cool and Warm Tones
The hospital scenes use cooler tones to promote a clean, orderly, and sterile environment. The warmer tones serve to highlight the city and exterior scenes. This approach allowed for a range of possibilities when transitioning between scenes and environments.
The animation was produced in seven languages: Dutch, English, German, Italian, French, Portuguese, and Spanish.
