Mark is an art director and designer. He pushes for creative innovation and experimentation, always maintaining the fundamentals of craft and quality. Between his native London and his current home in The Netherlands, Mark has carried out and directed projects for numerous agencies and companies, including Wolff Olins, Channel 4 Television, British Telecom, ING and The Municipality of The Hague.
/ Design & Illustration
Naz is a graphic designer and illustrator. She studied product design at the first educational institute dedicated to fine arts and architecture in Turkey. Naz has a strong visual imagination which contributes to her wide range of illustration styles: from abstract to realism to caricatures. Her work has been featured in magazines, on digital platforms, and at trade events in The Hague, Frankfurt and Rio de Janeiro.

Giorgia is a video editor and motion graphic designer. Her early passion for drawing and painting led her into the heart of Rome, where she was surrounded by paintings of the Old Masters. After going to an artistic high school, Giorgia studied Virtual and Digital Design at IED. She worked on numerous film projects: from animations to music videos to television series and promo films.

Samantha is a journalist who believes in the power of storytelling. She worked for American affiliated TV stations ABC, CBS, Telemundo and The CW. She has interviewed politicians, celebrities and worked on the casting and production process of America’s Next Top Model in Houston. Her experience in front of and behind the camera serves as a basis for how she guides our clients through the film process.
/ Sales, Office & Support
Herma is our office manager and sales support. In the past, she worked as a coordinator in an assisted living facility. Coordinating, advising and organising are some of the skills she mastered there, and she applies them at Happy Folk. With her helpful, approachable, and reliable personality, she ensures the office runs smoothly – so the rest of the team can focus on their core tasks.
/ Concept & Design
Lisan is a graphic designer with strong conceptual skills. She enjoys the beauty of colours and the versatility of print. Methods like foil and silk screen printing, letter pressing, and 3D-printing inspire her. Lisan likes to make her designs tangible so she can evaluate them to get the best results. Her largest design came to life in a renowned sculpture park in Cologne, Germany.

Bernd is a graphic designer and a web developer. His skills in both code and design software offer him possibilities he wouldn’t have otherwise. Bernd is creative and inventive, yet analytical and structured. These traits allow him to think several steps ahead, which results in well-executed designs that can be easily translated into different channels.

Loes is a graphic designer with a focus on both DTP and video. Her approach to projects is thorough yet flexible and she lets her creative instincts guide her work. Her favourite type of project? Producing an animation from scratch: from developing a look and feel, to illustrating the characters and objects, to bringing it all to life.

Michel is a communication strategist and copywriter. He studied International Communication in Utrecht and specialised in Psychology at the Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul, South Korea. These fields form the bedrocks of his approach to creating impactful campaigns and strategies. Michel has worked for clients like Pleegzorg Nederland, Vitens, KNVB, NS, and One Young World.

Jenny is a strategic PR and communications specialist. Her studies and career took her from Germany to the Netherlands, South Korea, Denmark – and back to the Netherlands. Jenny’s social skills, eye for detail and love for writing make her a great content creator and networker. Add experience at ‘DIE ZEIT’ and the ability to sense and vocalise what a client needs, and you know your PR is in the right hands.
