Telling a story
Considering the fact that Grip has a strong climbing community, we decided that the best way to engage the customers is by telling real-life stories that resonate with the them.
Prior to creating these films, it was agreed that the traditional approach using promotional style of film would not work with the consumer that we were aiming to engage. We decided to use the stories that developed around the process of building the brand-new boulder hall as a motif for the series.
This enabled the climbing community to look behind the scenes of these massive construction, hear first-hand from the experts that they know and respect and to become informed about the progress on the boulder hall.
