Supporting the expansion of the Grip climbing network

Embracing the scope

While bouldering is not exactly about scaling the heights, we certainly felt like we had a fantastic challenge working on a design project of a large scale: an actual series of gigantic walls and interior design for the hall.

The expansion of the original Grip brand into the reality of the boulder hall presented the company with many opportunities. The new building was to be completely renovated to accommodate the facility and this created many possibilities in how the brand could be placed in the hall.


The first step was to develop new brand colours and in cooperation with the client and Walltopia, the company that engineered the walls, create a colour palate and colour combinations across the whole gym. The second step was to create a logo and house style that was consistent with the Grip family, and yet unique and recognizable on its own.
